By attending orientation you will:
Do you know your KU Online ID and password?
You will be asked to enter your KU Online ID and password to gain access to the online registration form. You received instructions on how to create your KU Online ID and password in your letter of admission from KU. If you have not established your Online ID and password, go to www.ku.edu/computing/services. Do not proceed any further without knowing your KU Online ID and password.
- Learn what is expected of you as a University of Kansas student both in and out of the classroom
- Attend a group advising session to learn about your academic area of study
- Enroll in courses for the fall 2009 term
- Meet other new and current students and faculty and staff
- Learn about campus services, activities, and resources
- Complete university business, such as getting your KU Card or consulting with Student Financial Aid
- Feel better prepared to start KU in the fall
Orientation is your first opportunity to enroll in classes for fall 2009. If you elect to NOT attend orientation, the earliest date you can enroll in your classes is Wednesday, August 19, 2009.
